REAL UPDATE THIS TIME
THERE WE GO! All colored and everything! In case you missed it, Conventional Wisdom threw things off so bad this week that I had to put up a rough line-art version of this page on Friday. Well now we have the final, finished version... and I still had to skimp on details like background and stuff. Oh well, at least Megaweapon's green again.

Still, I like this comic. It's funny to see little Avatar be The Older One in this interaction, and it's also kind of nice to have a reminder that even a wiz-kid like Trigger is still fallible.

OH! And the new Voting Incentive is finally up! So go vote for that, too!

(Oh, just for the record, I originally planned to delete this whole page and load a new one, but I didn't want to loose all these cool comments. I'm quite lucky to have such witty, intelligent people reading my silly little cartoons)

He's disobeying instructions! The sign clearly says "Do Not Throw"
But really, Avatar has been hit in the head with a lot of things lately.

I think you can be forgiven about this update. I did find the Conventional Wisdom update amusing (and the typos you made can be forgiven too :P)

What's going to hit Avatar in the head next, The Thinker?

Blitzkrieg1701, January 13th, 2012, 1:41 pm

Oh, don't give me ideas! :D

Seros Senric (Guest), January 13th, 2012, 6:40 pm

Yeah, don't give him ideas unless they could help the situation :P

Although I have no idea where he could find a naked bronze (or was it marble?) statue in that pose on the ship. Or how he'd manage to move it.
(Unfortunately I just thought of quite a few ideas that could be possible... Just don't use any of those, ok?)

inb4 I make a Phoenix Wright and Far Out There crossover, only get half way through, and give up.

In case no one gets the reference, spoilers for if you have not played the AMAZING game series which is Phoenix Wright, three characters in the series get smacked on the head with a miniature The Thinker... Just for your video game literature.

@ Seros Senric: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thinker

The Original(s) are pretty big. (I saw the one at the Cleveland Museum of Art just after it was damaged in the 1970 bombing.) I would assume that he might throw a bronze or plaster miniature at her.

The more reason you give NOT to do this, the more interesting the idea becomes. This is not good.

...Maybe we should just be quiet now.

IT'S TOO LATE, THE SEED HAS BEEN PLANTED. SOON IT SHALL BLOOM.

NOO!! Call in the snails and locusts!

Colour! It's #FF00FF - or close enough.
I used to always use #FF00FF as transparent colour back before we had reliable transparency in images. Now I just use PNGs instead.

Incentive - ok, Ichabod said it better than I would have in that last speech bubble.
But... "vastly accelerating within" doesn't quite make sense to me... Did you mean to include the word "time" in there somewhere?

But yeah, temporal manipulation without special distortions is difficult (same for the other way round)

Also, you got a Twitter! ...I do not.

Blitzkrieg1701, January 14th, 2012, 10:36 am

Yeah, that was kind of an important word to leave out -__-;;;
