Really, it's amazing that Avatar's even entertained another course of action for THIS long.

I'm kinda scrambling to get as many pages finished before Katsucon as I can, so not many other remarks for now. Only that, from now on, we're only going to see the OTHER side of the nanite incubator. I HATE drawing that Not-Control Panel, and it never comes out the same way twice. BOOOOO.

As always, there's a new page of The Killer Station of Deadly Doom waiting for you if you vote on TWC! Things are getting REALLY interesting now, if I do say so myself.

Also interesting, the FAQ topic on the forum. I know, I won't shut up about it. Don't worry, I'm actually writing up the actual FAQ at the moment (when I can carve out the time, that is) but you can still toss a question into the mix!

EDIT: You know, I kind of wish I'd thought to do some kind of Valentine's Day page... but I've got too much to do already. Oh well, maybe next year.

If Trigger and Jenna would go for it, I'd be all for the three of them getting popcorn and enjoying the show as respectful fan suggested.

Incentive: And so we find out that the whole thing was just Ichabod messing with EVERYBODY because he was bored.
...No? Awww.
But yes, Ichabod has lived up to my expectations in this story.

Oh, it is SO hard to respond to either half of that without giving away any spoilers...

Actually, a self-modifying control panel that doesn't do anything would be doubly frustrating, kind of like those old apps that would move the "Okay" button out from under your mouse just as you clicked it.

Blitzkrieg1701, February 14th, 2012, 2:35 am

Oh, that is JUST the sort of annoying thing a mad scientist would come up with!

Good GRIEF, the heck's with Megaweapon's FACE?!

Also, it seems rather counterproductive to continually insult the only two people capable of SAVING YOUR SORRY REAR END. Just sayin'.

CarrotSticks, February 14th, 2012, 10:17 am

^ Megaweapon doesn't come across as the type to get presents on Christmas for being nice... :P Or smart.

Avatar, Death By Tickling is the worst possible death ever! Have a tiny bit of mercy!

Blitzkrieg1701, February 14th, 2012, 11:11 am

I think Megaweapon just naturally slips insults into every sentence, like "uh" or "ya know".

But yes: forced, unwilling anger-smiles are NOT pretty.

Jenna
They should find the remote, figure out how to turn the nanites off AND BACK ON, and give it to Jenna. Then she could have a nice long talk with Megaweapon about the things he's done to her until he's apologized for ALL if them.

And let her keep the remote. Tell him that although he's out, he still has nanites on him (whether it's true or not) and I bet if Jenna 'activated' them he would feel the tickling, giving her a permanent defense against Megaweapon.

(I have a real life example of tickling being felt without any actual physical cause: A woman I knew in college described how her roommate was on the phone with her brother 2000 miles away. Her brother was describing how he would tickle her and she was rolling on the floor yelling "STOP, STOP".)

MUST... NOT... REVEAL... SPOILERS...

*ahem*

I can neither confirm nor deny the degree to which the above comment resembles or diverges from actual coming events.

There.

Speaking of spoilers, is the Deadly Station of Deadly Doom a Kansas City Shuffle, perchance?

Blitzkrieg1701, February 15th, 2012, 10:44 pm

Oh... I'm not sure I should answer that either. Leaving it a mystery might make me seem more clever than I actually am :D
