Not gonna lie, I'm really glad I only had to draw that controller for one more page. I've been really bad about drawing technology without any regard for whether or not I'd be able to draw it the same way again later.

Also, I have to admit I'm curious to see how this little turn of events affects everyone's theories about how this will go (for the record, though, I DIDN'T just throw this in to confound anyone, Megaweapon was always gonna get smashy)

And, of course,there's a new Killer Station of Deadly Doom too!

OK, I feel that now I could say that my theory involved Megaweapon smashing what Trigger and Avatar made and then that action backfiring on him in some amusing manner. The second half of that is yet to be seen :P (although I had thought it'd take another page at least before he smashed it - perhaps I'm underestimating him. Not a good thing.)
But as for getting Jenna involved in some way beneficial to her, I'm still hoping for that. Also, hugs.

I think the middle panel being red works rather well.

Oh, and I see that a repaired version of yesterday's page is in the fan stuff section. :)

Incentive: If that "honest face" bit isn't a reference to The Ribos Operation, I don't know what is.

You'd better believe it is! :)

I'm glad the red turned out well, it was kind of a last minute decision, so I wasn't sure how well it'd work.

you have a hard time with drawing technology . . . and you draw a sci-fi comic?

Blitzkrieg1701, March 2nd, 2012, 1:07 pm

I only have a hard time drawing technology if I don't take the time to make a design that can be easily reproduced from various angles and at various sizes without the details getting wonky... and time is something I don't have much of right now, which leads to problems like this.

So, pretty obvious that they won't allow Jenna to torture Megaweapon with the nanites. Can you at least confirm or deny that that was originally Avatar and Trigger's plan? (Seems not, since Avatar helped him out. But still, they were laughing about SOMETHING.)

@Antonio:
I think that Avatar+Trigger would let Jenna torture Megaweapon if they could - but Jenna doesn't seem like the kind of person to want to torture anybody. Even Megaweapon.
But yes, Trigger and Avatar were laughing about something... And I think maybe they still are.

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to keep mum on exactly what the plan is/was/will be and what precisely was so funny... FOR NOW. We're getting dangerously close to the big reveal, though!
