So, on the one hand, this covers the fact that, even with his established love of pranks, Trigger just wouldn't ACTUALLY do something like this. AND, now you can't nitpick whether or not it actually makes sense for Trigger and Avatar to have actually been able to do it! BRILLIANT!

...except, now you have to wonder if Trigger's little plan will actually WORK. I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that an just maybe an innocent, soft-hearted kid like Trigger shouldn't be trying to anticipate what a vicious little brat like Megaweapon is going to do.

A little side thing, by the way: I think I finally have a drawing for Layla's profile picture that I like, but... well, I'm torn. Here's the new picture, and here's the previous one I had second thoughts on. If you'll remember, I didn't want to use that as the main profile picture because it's too casual and didn't represent the character as well. This new one, I think, captures her personality a lit better and looks more like how she'd want to be depicted... BUT, I just don't think it's as good as a drawing. I dunno, maybe I'm just overly proud of how well that sweater turned out. Whadda you think? Which one do you think is the better profile pic? (and remember, I'm gonna USE both of them, just one will be down in a gallery of character art)

...AH! And, of course, another page of The Killer Station of Deadly Doom for everyone who'll bother to vote on TWC!

OK, this page I've been expecting ever since they mentioned voice activation. Both for the reasons you said (getting something to believe something like that used to be one of my favourite pranks), and because they were still laughing, among other things.
I'm pretty sure I didn't mention this before, since I've been trying to avoid predicting plot twists (partly because one of my friends keeps insisting that I manipulate webcomics, which is of course absurd :P)

About Layla pictures, I'm having a hard time deciding which one I like more.
Also, reading the description answered a question I had concerning the new pictures legs. (I was wondering why the skirt was so short)

Incentive: See? Ichabod had a pretty good idea of where he went. (Also, awesome map thing)

And now I think I'll try and find more painkillers.

Oh man, that skirt gave me so much trouble. Technically, it's really not much shorter than the other times I've drawn her in that outfit. But then, I'm also making a conscious effort to draw Layla with a more... what's a tactful way to put this... "developed figure." Basically, I want it to be clearer that she's older than Trigger, and since he's a lanky growth spurt of a kid, that seemed like a good visual contrast. But yeah, it ALSO means I have to start thinking harder about what is or isn't fanservice-y on her. Like I said in the comment, though, it should be less catcall-inducing once those leggings are colored in.

Oh, and I always welcome attempts to manipulate my comics. I make no promises to go along with the manipulation, mind you, but the input is always welcome :D

Layla looks a bit TOO old if you ask me. I know she's supposed to look a bit older, and age is a hard thing to nail properly when your body proportions are exaggerated for cartoon purposes (head size within relation to the rest to the rest of the body and all), so it actually might take a bit of tweaking before getting something that looks just right.

I think less of an hour-glass figure might help her out a bit, but I wouldn't mess around with the body proportions anymore unless you feel that they're needed.

Well, here's the other thing about that: at the risk of getting into spoiler territory, there's some future plots I've got going for Layla that honestly work better if she's established as an uncommonly attractive young lady. And since I only know how to draw, like, three faces, exaggerating her figure a bit was the only real option (well, that or a lot of lazy and awkward dialog to drive the point home)

But yeah, I'm still tweaking it, so we'll see.
