*GASP* Not only does he speak, he even displayed an emotion!

So, I just busted my hump getting that Conventional Wisdom update finished, so I'd be very appreciative if you could go check it out! Please?

It'll help kill some time, since I can't get the latest Voting Incentive up. It's drawn and everything, but TWC seems to be having some technical difficulties right now, and I can't log in. I'll add a link when I finally get it up. Sorry!

I liked Vengence at first but now I love him (bromance)

Vengeance manages to be probably one of the scariest characters I've seen in a webcomic that hasn't actually done anything scary. (Also, everyone is creeped out by him, but so far all we've seen him do is mind his own business and now effectively be nice to another character... and still we don't hesitate to think that he's dangerous or something, you've done him well, it is no wonder that readers like him)
Here's hoping we see Vengeance do more things at some point after this little exchange.

Incentive (for when TWC works for you again): When I first saw it, although I did realise who was speaking with those speech bubbles in the first panel, it felt weird that they were pointing to different places despite it being the same person speaking, probably enforced by that we can't actually see him since he's behind a wall.
Also, middle panel. Yep.

May I go on a limb here and point out that Vengeance is wrong? Or have we all forgotten what Layla's intentions were?

Not that I expect him to have realized, but still.

Blitzkrieg1701, April 13th, 2012, 2:18 pm

I wouldn't say Vengeance is WRONG, just uninformed. Remember, Kevin doesn't realize Layla's trying to play him either, he'd have been this much of a jerk even if her feelings were genuine.

But yes, father mocking aside (which is just plain not cool) Layla WAS asking for this more than Vengeance realizes.

Antonio (Guest), April 14th, 2012, 12:26 pm

Er, yes, I meant "him" as in "Kevin". Of course we cannot expect Vengeance to be aware of Layla's plan. Since that would be creepy.

Dear sir, that was quite unbecoming of you, regardless of that woman seemingly being psychopathic and possessive.

Blitz (currently on Mom & Dad's (Guest), April 15th, 2012, 7:53 pm

@Antonio. OH! Sorry, my bad (though, let's face it, being creepy has never stopped Vengeance before)

@CarrotSticks: That, sir, is profoundly epic.

Ooh, don't tell me we're going to see vengance get his own story line, trigger then layla, in a sense, then avatar.
This got get better, by the way I think you just out did your self on this one.
