Oh MAN that Conventional Wisdom stuff is kicking my butt. Seriously, it's a minor miracle that I managed to get even as simple a page as this done in the midst of all the comiking I've done this week. Believe me, the decision to leave this page Black or White had as much to do with saving time as it did with any artistic concerns (though I DO think it makes the light/dark contrast nice and stark) Also, I'm quite pleasantly surprised at how well dimly-lit Avatar turned out.For something I made up at the last minute to draw out the time-saving darkness, it sure looks nice.

Not so nice... I really, really hate to do this, but The Killer Station of Deadly Doom is still on hold for now. I know, I hoped to start doing new pages by now... but I hoped to have a LOT of things done by now. Well, at least we got an update at all, right?

EDIT: THERE! The Conventional Wisdom update is done! Now you can at least see what kept me busy all week!

It's like Trigger has NO voice reconition skills and has to see who he's hearing to make sense of things.
Much like us, beyond the fourth wall.

@Zaealix: *GASP* Trigger exists beyond the fourth wall!
OK, not really.

Is the spiky blue thing absorbing all the power somehow? Kinda like Mondas? Does that mean it might explode or disintegrate if it absorbs to much? (Again like Mondas)
...Should I even be saying stuff like this?

...I wonder... Has Trigger ever actually been in the dark before?

Blitzkrieg1701, November 17th, 2012, 12:25 am

That's actually something I've been wondering myself, now that it's been brought up. At first, I thought Trigger was just over reacting in a humorous fashion, and Ichabod's complaint that anyone who grew up in a bunker should be USED to the dark seemed valid. But then I realized something: Bunkers AREN'T dark because they have lights in them! A high teck facility like the one Trigger was raised in would have had plenty of lighting AND enough backup generators to avoid any blackouts. So, actually, this COULD be the first time he's been in total darkness!

I should plan out little stuff like that better.

Trigger seems to be triggering a really weird...thingy here.

Should we called it trauma?
