I'm stretching things out again, guys. The whole "lights go out" bit was only supposed to take a couple of panels, maybe one page of full attention, tops. But I JUST KEEP MILKING IT because mostly black pages are really easy to draw, and I always seem to be running out of time. For example, I'm heading down to Raleigh for Thanksgiving tomorrow night, so I gotta get all of this week's comics finished RIGHT NOW.

...but honestly, I probably would have gone ahead and done this page anyway, AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! :) See, I only added the "Trigger freaking out" bit as a means of having SOMETHING happen during last week's pages. It wasn't until you guys started speculating about WHY he got so worked up that I actually started thinking about it myself. I like this explanation, since it's the kind of thing a kid with trigger's skills would thing about, AND it allowed for the punchline of a freaked-out Layla!

So, guess what? THE KILLER STATION OF DEADLY DOOM IS FINALLY BACK! Go vote for Far Out There on TWC and see what happens next!

...and enjoy it, 'cos there may not be another page Friday. I KNOW, I'M SORRY, but I won't be back until Saturday, and with the amount of stuff I need to get finished before I leave, I doubt I'll be able to squeeze another page in.

BUT, on the other hand, be sure to tune in here Thursday for a little something extra!

Poor Layla :(
Maybe she should have another hug.
Luckily, most of those things kill you slowly, so you have enough time to try and fix it.

Concerning cars, with my car, the only thing really dangerous that could go wrong would be the brakes failing - but I've managed to stop cars while driving them without the use of breaks before, so I figure I'll be fine. Newer and older cars have more things that could go wrong.

Ah, enemies bickering. The perfect distraction.

Well, since it's probably not concerning my birthday, I don't think I know what it could be, and I don't think I'll bother trying to find out what before then.

Uh yeah. I guess anyone not in the U.S. will find my statement a lot more vague than I intended it to be...

Trigger's train of thought is very similar to doomsday believers when they go "The world is going to implode and everything will become a huge mess and death is but a matter of time but certain!"

The only difference would probably be a planet implosion is less likely to happen than a ship hull breach.

And as he puts it, nothing really matters till you think about it, right Layla?

@Stick & Trigger
Layla's shirt says otherwise.

Hello again, and thank you for returning the station again.
Also, "or die OR radiation poisoning"?

But seriously, this page is great as usual. Don't let the art shortcuts disheart you, it's the story that counts.

(Is disheart a verb? I guess it is now).

Aww poop. I'll correct that when I get back

It still says "or die OR radiation poisoning" several years later. It's taken a long time for Blitz to get back :). Also, I believe dishearten is the verb that Antonio was thinking of.
