There's a lot I could say about this page, especially in relation to all that EXCELLENT theorizing that went on last week. Alas, I've got a whole lot of Conventional Wisdom to draw in a very short amount of time, and it's already very late. I really don't need to be making words right now.

The lateness isn't helped by the Voting Incentive. I had to go and radically change my plans right at the last minute, which didn't exactly speed up the process. Still, the end result is nice, so go vote and check it out!

Ruining a disaster?
I think being stuck in the dark on a broken space ship with a guy who is overly eager and cheerful to basically mess around with equipment that you will probably need to survive would normally ADD to the fun. It does for me.

That is ignoring the fact that making a backup power-grid may equally result in it and all of it's component parts being destroyed. Something thee nitpicker should have spotted.

Seros Senric (Guest), January 8th, 2013, 4:55 am

Quite right in that not knowing how the power drain is happening could mean that it kicks in once the total power in a contained system reaches a certain level.
Still, we can hope it works. And they seem to know not to take away more than they need to survive anyway, so even if they break the ones they try to use as a power source, they should still be able to survive long enough to think of something else.

I do wonder if they can make calls... Or at least send out a distress signal if they need to.
Ichabod's call with Sophia cut out, but it's not like they need a real time communication with video feed, they might be able to jury-rig something.
...Hmm... Just realised that at least somebody outside the ship knows something is up. That's alright then.

Trigger is amusing. Pretty sure he thinks of all these disasters that keep happening like games.

Crazy gravitational effects can be fun.

And once again the dreaded 'NO' shirt possesses Layla-infecting her with naysaying!
Or maybe that's just how she always is.
Still, an amusingly fitting choice of clothes for her personality.
Now if only Trigger had a shirt with 'YES' on it!

Seros Senric (Guest), January 8th, 2013, 6:41 am

Trigger with a "YES" shirt?
Sounds like a job for a relatively simple image edit!

...I think I might make a thread on the forums for some of the random image edits I make...

Update: I added a simple edit of Trigger with a "YES" shirt to the PseudoRandom Stuff thread in the forum.
I could have made a new thread, but I didn't.

Thanks, and I'm gonna have to figure out how to draw well enough to contribute to that thread somehow...Maybe fan-coloring one of the pages? Not sure how easy (or legal) that would be.

I love you guys. Like, seriously, you don't even KNOW.

On that note, let me just go ahead and say right now that I'm cool with pretty much anything anybody does with any of my original art. Fan stuff RULES.

Also, the original draft of this page went into more detail about what Avatar and trigger are actually planning, and why it might or might not work. Unfortunately, trying to cram that much technospeak into a single page just seemed felt unnatural. It'll be brought up in a future page, though.

(Oh, and should I mention that I'm totally going to put a "NO." shirt in the store eventually?"

Yeah, Layla! Stop being such a whiner! *Laughs* I love this one! (I was just on Twitter, and I had the strongest urge to "Fav" this comic! *Moans and eats shirt* It's not faaaiiirrr~!!!)
