YAY! The Caligaris are back! And it's not a holiday page or anything! It's, like, really happening right now and stuff! YAY!

And what's more, ACTUAL SHADING AGAIN! And there's even BACKGROUNDS other than inky blackness! I could go on about the specifics of the setting in this new place... but you know what? I'll hold onto that thought, 'cos we're gonna see a whole lot about the Caligari homestead in the weeks to come.

AND we've got a new Voting Incentive, too! So much yay!

(Oh, by the way, sorry I haven't been as active in the comments and forum as usual. I'll get back on that as soon as I actually have energy to think again. No, seriously. I got off work Saturday and ACTUALLY slept all the way through Sunday. I'm a little bit tired)

Layla is really upset. She doesn't like being helpless.

Well, Tabitha does seem a good bet for someone to help them...
Also, the containers Bridget is holding look like pizza boxes to me. Or maybe I'm just hungry.
...I wonder if I have any pizza...

You'd think Ichabod would know to specify the 'wait' before the other instructions...

Had a good dinner and decided to look up FOT for an update. A pity that I'm actually a tad too sick to think of anything to say about today's comic other than it looks pretty darn good for a change compared to the last few we had.

Then again, the last few were mostly filled with endless darkness with an one red-eyed "monster" lurking within. XD

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops, since I'm too tired to imagine the possible scenarios at the moment. Keep up the good stuff. :D

Hrm...So, Tabitha Caligari vs. mysterious energy phenomena.

I'm glad you guys think the page turned out well, I'm pretty excited about it too.

...granted, I CAN complain about the layout a bit. I drew the last panel separately for maximum detail, but I got the size wrong in relation to the rest of the page. That's why the speech bubbles are so small, I had to scale everything down farther than usual for it all to fit.

Also, I COULD complain about the perspective in that panel being all wrong: the hall receeds in one direction while the room goes in another. In that case, however, I'll just claim that the hall's actually a ramp and everything makes sense (because, actually, that totally fits the loopy ideas I have for this setting!)

Easy part: Bet on Tabitha.

Hard part: Find someone stupid enough to bet against me.

You know, usually your little splotches of color don't look too good -but in this case, with the Caligaris, it looks REAL good! It just fits them, you know?

BTW, have you updated the gallery with past incentives? I wanna' get caught up and I'm always unsure if the current page is the next one~ Sos I just wait for the gallery to be updated~

Blitzkrieg1701, January 30th, 2013, 10:54 pm

If all goes according to plan, I'll have the gallery up to date when the next page goes up

(Really, I gotta start doing that more often. Now that Photobucket's started tacking those random number into the end of the file names, it's really tough to find files without a direct link)

At first I thought the Caligaris had some type of prototype matter in those boxes. Then I realized Tabitha actually said "protomater" and now I'm even more curious what that could be!
