Tabitha's lab probably has a nicer bathroom than the one by her "actual" room, since it gets used more.

Wow, this one sure took a while. It wasn't even that complicated a page (MOSTLY, but more on that in a sec), I just didn't get started on it until very late. Work was particularly brutal over the weekend, and once I saw I had Tuesday off, and thus could stay up as late as I needed to finish this... well, doing things quickly just didn't seem very appealing.

That last panel WAS kind of tricky, though. There's a lot of awkward postures going on, and the way everyone's kind of leaning on each other just made things trickier (I move one character a little, and the other two have to move as well) I still don't think I quite got everything right... BUT WHO CARES, IT'S SO CUUUUUUTE!!!!!!

Oh and if that wasn't enough, get this: WE FINALLY HAVE A NEW VOTING INCENTIVE!!! Go vote and see it! (Also, I updated the Incentive Gallery, since I figured you guys might want to refresh your memory of what was going on before this little lapse)

Bridget's blushing :) D'awwwww...
They must have a lot of boxes labelled "Box of Science" there. I wonder how they tell them apart.

And yeah, I always thought of Tabitha not being good friends with many people due to not getting out much. When working on interesting projects it is really easy to lose track of time.
...Usually you can realise you should get some sleep when you realise that you've just thought through the solution of a minor problem for at least the tenth time but haven't put that solution into practice yet. Then after getting sleep you come back to it and wonder why you had any trouble with it.
Then you get a phone call or something from a friend asking why you didn't meet up with them last week, and that's when you realise that it hasn't just been one or two days.
Ah... Good times.

Incentive: That's something that only a nitpicker would bother to correct.

You basically just described my cartooning routine back when I didn't have a job. :)

Considering the origin of Bridgett and Alphonse puts "making friends" in a whole new light.

Blitzkrieg1701, 27 Feb 2013 07:13 am

You know, I ALMOST included a joke along those lines, but I didn't want it to sound like Tabitha was playing God for selfish reasons (I've got this scene I'm looking for a chance to use where another mad scientist refers to Bridget and Alphonse as Tabitha's "pets." It does not end well)

I would not want to be around if someone talked about those zombie kids as anything less than people where Tabitha could hear.
I don't think it would be pretty.
She may be nice, but she's still a mad scientist.

Luckily for us, we are slightly out of her realm of influence. I think. Maybe.

I'm not alone in thinking of her as a mad scientist!

Blitzkrieg1701, 28 Feb 2013 04:34 am

TABITHA wouldn't want you to call her a Mad Scientist, since most of the ones you hear about are some degree of sociopath... but come on, she's making super-powered zombie cyborgs. What ELSE would we call her?

Stonefoot, 28 Feb 2013 11:20 am

You know, I think Tabitha, most 'normal' people, and most Mad Scientists (that would be the ones not named Tabitha) all tend to treat pets much like we treat other people. For most of us that means we care about them, protect them, and respect them as living beings who deserve fair treatment. For "Mad Scientists not named Tabitha" that means as raw material for experimentation.

Stick (Guest), 28 Feb 2013 12:36 pm

Tabitha would be defined as a unique scientist then, huh. If you get in which direction of unique I'm coming from.

Besides, this is still technically "bad" since any dead child whose body was unfortunately misplaced would have a good chance of returning as a zombie cyborg.

Broke through the fourth wall with the last one, perhaps?
