It's a good thing for Avatar that Layla was too busy to see HER "being a sourpuss" while the mad scientists were around. Otherwise, you can bet we'd be hearing about it right now.

Speaking of right now, I'm at Otakon! If you're in Baltimore this weekend, track me down and say hi! And say it loudly and repeatedly, I'll probably be too sleepy to hear you at first. Due to this Conventioning, we don't have a new Voting Incentive today, but don't let that stop you from voting on TWC anyway! :D I'm still not sure if there'll be an incentive on Tuesday or not (remember, I'll be in the middle of a big ol' Conventional Wisdom update at the time), but cross your fingers!

"Please remember to take all sweaty [something] with you when you're done. - The Management"
I think it says...

You know, I wouldn't want to use a machine labelled "Ab Schpuncher" (or whatever it says) or a "Bear Wrestling Simulator"

I think I might be a little off my game - I'm not going very well at reading the small print signs this time.

Signs aside, that water affect does look good. Looks to me like some kind of noise function, but I can't quite tell which one, if it is.

Pity Layla doesn't appreciate Avatar's comments here.

wait if theirs no air how is the water still there?

Blitz (at Otakon) (Guest), August 9th, 2013, 2:27 pm

SS: the water is just one of the shading layers that come with Manga Studio.

I THINK the note from the Management refers to "sweaty underthings", but I wrote it a while ago, and this phone isn't ideal for fine print reading.

jex: It's not that there's no air period, it's just that it's not healthy to breathe with the air filters turned off. (the REAL question is, with the gravity on low power, should the water just be sitting there in the pool like everything's normal?)

Concerning the water:
Even if there was no air, or no significant gravity, the water shouldn't change that much. The reason is simple: Matter really dislikes changing. It flying out everywhere is a pretty big change.
The ripples are probably from the spiky blue thing entering the water, since there doesn't really seem to be anything else to cause them currently, and there is enough gravity to prevent the water from flying out everywhere as evidenced by Avatar not floating around the room.

Slightly related, liquids in zero-G is pretty awesome to watch, there are videos around on the internet of it you should look up if you haven't.
