"SEE a giant glowing monster destroyed... IN COLOR!" (give yourself a cookie if you can tell what that's a reference too)

Technically speaking, this could have easily been combined with Tuesday's page. It's not like it'd be hard to see around all the word bubbles or anything. However, this showdown has been building up for SO FREAKING LONG, I wanted to give everything room to breathe so that it'd feel properly epic. Also, since there's that whole "Escapist Expo this weekend" thing to work around, squeezing an extra page out of things in advance really helped (and no dialog to worry about either, an extra plus)

On that note, yeah, I'm off at another convention as you read this, BUT THERE'S A NEW VOTING INCENTIVE ANYWAY! One of the few advantages of driving back and forth to a convention instead of staying there all weekend: you can still get to your computer at night to do stuff! Anyway, I'll be working on Conventional Wisdom stuff all week, but I SHOULD have next Tuesday's update already finished by now, so THAT Incentive should go online without a hitch as well. It took all year, but I'm FINALLY getting on top of this stuff again!

Sooo I finally read up on the voting incentive of the station of deadly doom...
Wow. That was some level of awesomeness I was not expecting, I'll be honest.

Thanks! Here's hopping the next incentive series will live up it it!

By the way, question for all you readers: if I were to put out a Killer Station of Deadly Doom book, would you prefer the original art, or less-sketchy versions? (Just for future reference)

Obviously, better art is better than nonbetter art, BUT.
Not at the expense of upcoming stories. I'm not saying you should screw quality in favour of quantity, obviously the best result lies somewhere in the middle, but going back to remake what you have already made is not a step in the right direction. That way lies madness.

Also, "live up TO it".

Excellent point, especially since that's also what's holding up a print collection of the main comic. In that case, I actually HAVE to go back and redraw things. Not just to clean up funky art and fix plot holes, but because a lot of those files are just the wrong size for printing. I guess trying to do TWO arc-length remakes is a fool's errand, isn't it?

A bit, yes.
