Okay, before anything else, some business to take care of: This Thursday is Far Out There's 6th Birthday! I've got a special, extra page in the works to mark the occasion, so it won't be like that one time where I forgot about it. And then, the very next day, is Valentine's Day! Because I love to overdose on silly holiday-related comics, we're ALSO gonna have a special page on Friday! ...which is probably making the more astute of you wonder when the other "real" page for this week will go up. Yeah, about that... there isn't gonna be one. Normally, in a situation like this, I'd just do an extra update on Saturday. But there is nothing "normal" about the next week. I'm gonna be at Katsucon over the weekend (traveling through a snow storm, which will be all kind of fun), which means I have to get extra comics done to cover the Conventional Wisdom workload. Since I already have the birthday/Valentine pages drawn, I'm just gonna call that the Friday update and focus on next weeks stuff. And hey, it's still one more comic than we usually get in a week. That's cool, right?

And get this: despite all this scrambling and time crunch and what have you, we still have a new Voting Incentive! ...don't ask me what it's supposed to BE, though.

What the voting incentive is supposed to be? Isn't it obvious?

It's an Role Playing Game that the characters are playing. Ichabod is the DM, Avatar is off panel, possibly KO'ed (she played a Glass-Cannon type character), Trigger has no weapons and his "Tech Knowledge" Level's too low to fight the boss, so Layla (the balanced fighter), essentially, has to solo it.

I think she might need a hug.
And a tissue.
...Actually, make that the whole box.

If Hector was trying to invent a new form of Red Bull, why doesn't he have wings?

Also, There may be something new on the forums. *not-so-subtle-nudge*

I cracked up laughing when I saw it, and I'm not sure why.
And I hadn't even seen Darius Drake's comment.
But I now choose to believe that that comment is entirely accurate.
Avatar would love to play a glass cannon, and Trigger didn't realise that combat would play into it and made a hippy peace loving character, or some such.

Actually, the more I look at it, I imagine that Trigger's supposed to be the Damsel in Distress for this scenario.:D

Sure, because he made a pre-battle support character and didn't make HIMSELF any supporting equipment, instead making the stuff Layla asked him to.

See, it all works out.

Unless... partial scenario story idea for the voting incentive. Trigger's character was kidnapped, put into a room with lots of tech, made a Power Suit to attempt to break himself free, was picked up and put somewhere else before he got the chance to USE his power suit, AND now Ichabod's DM Character is using Trigger's Power Suit for himself. That's why Trigger has no weapon, and how Ichabod's character got a Power Suit in the first place.

As horrible as it makes me feel to say this... It kinda serves her right.

Now if you'll excuse me, I think I need to book my room in the circle of hell reserved for schadenfreude, which, ironically, I will be sharing with Megaweapon.

@DD & SS: It's times like these I wish I knew more about roleplaying. It seems like there's a lot of possible jokes I just don't know how to make.

@ Blitzkreig: I've never really done a table top RP, ever, so I'm just working off the tiny tidbit of knowledge I have from Videogames and random Internet Information.
