Somewhere nearby, there's a cupcake factory that just horrifically burned down.

What the WHAT? Has Far Out There seriously been on the planet for SEVEN WHOLE YEARS now? That's CRAZY! But it's also true! This comic is seven whole years old today!

Of course, I'm off at Katsucon as you read this, so I can't do much in the way of celebrating, but it's still pretty dang cool, right?

While said "being at Katsucon" thing also means I don't have a new voting incentive today, I CAN offer you all a special, extra page TOMORROW in honor of Valentines Day. And also, to thank everybody for sticking with this silly little comic for so long. Thank you so much, guys!

The real question is, are you celebrating the nine hundredth illustration with a birthday, or celebrating a birthday with the nine hundredth illustration?

(And, to beat a dead joke into the earth: 9 and 7=97; 100-97=3; Half-Life 3: Illuminati Edition confirmed.)

Trigger and Layla at the Cupcake factory, both irritated at it's burning down. See, Layla persuaded Trigger to "adjust" the machines so that they broke down in a week's time. For this, Layla get's a portion of the insurance/lawsuit payout, while Trigger get's some free cupcakes.

Tax, meanwhile, doesn't know that Avatar's on the planet.

Happy Birthday!

Tax is so lucky. Any other person and those would probably be fuses, not candles.
