Oh, you'd better BELIEVE those guys are in trouble. Stilez's ears are straight back AND her tail's all poofy. That's two-strikes against you in kitty language right there. If her back was arched too, we'd ALL be dead now.

...aaaaaaaand yeah, this page doesn't really tell us anything that we didn't already figure out last time. But hey, after all her Tigger-like bouncing around, I REALLY wanted to draw Stilez stomping up all slow and deliberate. Gotta find as many ways as possible to keep things fun to draw, right?

Speaking of changing things up, we've had plenty of pages mining humor from a woman whose strength is wildly disproportionate to her slender frame. Today's Voting Incentive brings back a character who can NOT do that gag.

Too bad it's completely wrong for her character, 'cause one of the only things that could make this scene more epic would be Stilez holding some sort of teddy bear as she goes to M.D.K. everyone responsible for Tax getting hurt.

Blitzkrieg1701, April 30th, 2015, 10:09 pm

I think Tax IS Stilez's Teddy Bear.

Stefan
I like how Ichabod totally seems to lose his nit-pick abilities and starts misusing the word "literally."

...Unless he hasn't lost that ability and isn't misusing that word, in which case this is extremely terrifying.

There is truth in both of these observations.

"There are two people in the universe that can stop Stilez. And you've injured BOTH of them."

I want a coloured-in version of last-panel Stilez.

Incentive:
I have no idea what to think about those outfits.

The thing that freaks me out about this scene is that the thing that caused her to sober up wasn't anything the mercenaries did. She caused the destruction that resulted in Taz's injury, and she's going to kill those people for it. This is exactly why we breed supersoldiers /without/ emotion here in the Illumina--I said nothing; you heard nothing.

@Snowkeeper
Yeah, I know what you mean.
But, I've had problems with emotionless supersoldiers too.
Which is a big part of why we no longer use them, and instead try to be beneath notice, apparently friendly, or have planets with annoying inhabitants "coincidentally" consumed by a black hole that somehow appeared in the centre of their planet.

Personally, I still thing the best plan is genetically engineering an overwhelming variety of cute, superpowered animal-weapons, then enlisting unsupervised, adolescent children to "train" them.

aqua (Guest), May 4th, 2015, 9:12 pm

yeah, they'll work for badges

cheapest way to train
