You know, when I first started penciling this page, I thought to myself "Oh good! It'll just be a few panels of faces talking! This is that I'm good at! This page won't be late at all!" ...and then I fell asleep and suddenly it was this morning and nothing was done. DANG IT! (Also, I spent quite a lot of yesterday drawing a whole pile of other comics, that too)

And yes, this turn of events was VERY accurately predicted earlier this week. Ya'll have the rhythm of this comic DOWN.

And last but not least, New Voting Incentive!

Avatar gets to give Stilez a bath because she's indestructible. "Claw marks" would be quite the understatement for what Stilez could do to someone giving her a bath.

Indestructible, maybe, but not super strong, so there's still the question of GETTING her into a bath, or bath-like situation.

Xylas_Incarnum, August 28th, 2015, 9:23 pm

Avatar + hose+ attachment for said hose that allows you to have a valve for putting soap into the water directly.... and/or Tax takes a bath with her. Something like that.

Seros Senric (Guest), August 28th, 2015, 9:39 pm

...I can actually see Tax dragging Avatar off to have a bath together...

Though, not sure if being submerged in water would be good for Avatar. She finds being in air bad enough...

Darius Drake (Guest), August 29th, 2015, 4:01 am

This is easily solved. Get Avatar and Trigger make a steam cleaner for humanoid's. Avatar's there to ensure that it both works and isn't potentially fatal. Then you persuade Tax to try it, with Avatar (so that Tax uses it properly), and, after proving that Tax comes out dry, then have Stilez use it with Avatar (to ensure that Stilez uses it properly).

Okay, sure, if Stillez doesn't like it, she will just jump out. However, the only other "waterless" option is to set Stilez on fire, douse her, dry her, and then cover her in scent sprays.

I am both loving these ideas AND the fact that no one's guess what'll ACTUALLY happen yet :)

Darius Drake (Guest), August 30th, 2015, 3:47 am

Of course not. I mean, we (or I, at least) prefer it to guess things that either won't be explained in the comic, or that will almost certainly be wildly wrong.

The easiest way to have Stilez take a bath, excusing just hosing her down with a high pressure stream of soapy water, is to make it sound like Tax is in trouble while having a bath, tricking Stilez into jumping into the bath, and then attacking her from all sides with shampoo, soap and water.

The next easiest way (assuming that you just want to get rid of the smell) is to have her walk through a mist of deodorizing spray.

Blitzkrieg1701, August 30th, 2015, 8:02 am

Oh, I get that. It's just that I also try to come up with unexpected directions for the story to go... directions that people sometimes bring up as things so silly that could NEVER happen :)

Seros Senric (Guest), August 30th, 2015, 9:36 pm

Although we usually only try and guess things that shouldn't happen, we occasionally put down exactly what we think will happen, just to keep you on your toes.
Not this time though :)
Bath discussion is too much fun.

Darius Drake (Guest), August 31st, 2015, 4:32 am

I agree with Seros Senric. That is exactly what we do.

One example of something that almost certainly won't happen, but would be funny if it does, the next page opens with Tax pulling on Layla's hair... mostly because it looks a little like she's about to in the last panel in THIS comic.

Who knew all those militaries that were attacking her ineffectively over the years with bullets and missiles and lasers could have easily driven her off with the sudsing sprayer from an average car wash?! Don't they feel silly now!
