...and now I really want to see Stilez fighting the Mega Awesome Rangers.

This is one of those pages whose very existence kind of bugs me. To be honest, the plan was to have next Tuesday's page go up today. But at the last minute (well, quite a few minutes AFTER the "last", actually), I decided the events in that page were happening a bit too soon, and the pacing needed to be stretched out a touch... and now that I've done it, I'm worrying that this page is just needless filler and the pacing might need to be tightened back up again. *sigh* Just can't win, can ya?

Also, I SWEAR that horrifying black blob actually looked like Stilez holding Ichabod before I colored everything in. Not sure what happened there.

BTW, big ol' props to Darius Drake for making that "Ichabod as a kid brother who needs to learn to have fun" observation last time. That's actually a really funny idea, and it jives well with what I was already planning on doing anyway. Ya'll keep having good ideas, ya hear?

Last of all, the fact that Tuesdya's Voting Incentive... didn't come out until late Wednesday (whoops) probably COULD have been an excuse for me to just not do a new one today. But screw that, I did a new one anyway. Still, that's not a lot of time, and I realize some of you honestly might not have time to see the old incentive. Thus, I've actually gotten around to updating the Incentive Gallery! Now's your chance to get fully caught up on the many twists and turns of Tabitha dressing people up in elaborate costumes!

JANUARY 19 EDIT: Okay, if you're wondering where the heck today's page is, I don't blame you. Alas, the internet's down all over the place right now. I'm writing this on my phone, but loading a new page that way isn't really an option. I'll post the new page as soon as I can. In the mean time, I DID get the new Voting Incentive up before everything crashed, so you can at least see that!

@ Blitz: And here I thought that was where you were going in the first place! Okay, sure, before that page it wasn't clear to me, but we didn't see much of Stilez, and even less of her interactions with Ichabod.

@ Comic: Poor Layla. Your own imagination has turned into your own worst enemy here. If anything, it almost seems like she's suffering more than Ichabod here.

Blitzkrieg1701, January 15th, 2016, 9:57 am

It was mainly the thought that she has some motivation for doing things to Ichabod beyond "just 'cos"

...though, really, that IS still her ultimate motivation for everything :)

Darius Drake (Guest), January 15th, 2016, 5:30 pm

@ Blitz: Sheesh, if that's the case, then why didn't Layla realise it earlier? He's literally the only person who Stilez knows the name of, excusing Tax. Of course there's a reason!

Blitzkrieg1701, January 15th, 2016, 5:48 pm

Hey, that's the whole reason why she's enduring the horrifying sight of Ichabod receiving affection. She knows SOMETHING'S up and needs to know what!

We've found out some rather interesting things these last few pages...

Like the "date" took five weeks.

He just likes complaining.

You know, if you really REALLY want to see Stilez fighting the Mega Awesome Rangers (as we all do), you can do it. You're the guy that draws the stuff! YOU HAVE THE POWER! ;)

(Whether or not you have the *time* is of course another matter)

Blitzkrieg1701, January 17th, 2016, 6:45 am

Time is power, and I have so very very little :(

(Plus, I'm still not sure if the Mega Awesome Rangers are actually "real" or just a TV show)

Fellow (Guest), January 17th, 2016, 8:05 am

Are you saying Stillez can't beat up a TV cast?

Number 6 (Guest), January 17th, 2016, 11:43 am

We now know that at least one or more of the following is true:

1. The Mega Awesome Rangers are a real superhero team

2. The Mega Awesome Rangers are a TV show about the real superhero team The Mega Awesome Rangers. Of course it is dramatized and exaggerated. For example, on their TV show, they were probably able to defeat Stilez.

3. The Mega Awesome Rangers is just a TV show, however there are other actual real superhero teams in existence. None of them were able to defeat Stilez either.

4. Stilez also likes to dress people up in costumes. No wonder Tabitha was so excited when she heard Stilez was on board Layla's ship.

Seros Senric (Guest), January 17th, 2016, 9:11 pm

@Number 6

I'm going to go for numbers 2 and 4.
Just because.
The TV show is one of the ways the hero team gets funding.
Episodes based on real events are heavily edited. People they fight are made to seem more villainous, and the main cast are made to seem more heroic than the real life people they are based on.

Also, at least one real superhero team has managed to come up with a massive conspiracy theory that involves Ichabod being the head of a secret cartel that controls Stilez's movements.
They are currently wasting time trying to find a pattern in the destruction she causes, trying to figure out what Ichabod (and his "mysterious" group) has to gain from it.

Ed8 (Guest), January 28th, 2016, 7:52 pm

@Seros - Ichabod is just an agent of the cartel. The real mastermind who controls Ichabod and therefore Stilez is a mysterious and shadowy figure we have identified only by the pseudonym "Blitzkrieg". A very ominous and dangerous name indeed. No more is known about this individual, but clearly he has some sinister purpose.
