Does it count as "control" if all you can do is remind someone of what they were already planning to do anyway?

I never get tired of Trigger having a totally different set of priorities where interaction with others is concerned.

Well, this was a doubly annoying update. Fir one thing, I really, REALLY thought this page was going to go up... well, I can't say "on time" 'cos it would have still been well after midnight. But I really thought I was gonna get it finished and online before dawn, at least. And then I fell asleep right before the coloring was done, and well, look what time it is now. Arguably worse, though, is the latest in this long line of totally unforeseeable technical difficulties: Photobucket being under mantinence so I couldn't post the new Voting Incentive. Yes, I actually had it drawn and colored and everything around midnight, but couldn't do anything with it! They're still doing something over there, so I finally gave up and loaded the new Voting Incentive on a different host this morning. Hopefully that'll work alright.

Speaking of which, I could use some feedback on something: I recently had an idea to revamp the Incentive and Patreon galleries so that they wouldn't just be a big list of Photobucket links, but actual comic pages like this one. Basically, I'd start up two new Smackjeeves comics, like FarOutThereIncentiveGallery dot Smackjeeves dot com or whatever, and post all the old material there as pages. Then you could browse through them the same way you do here, with navigation buttons and a scroll-able archive thing and all that. Of course, moving that many pictures around would take awhile, and I can't afford to do that much work on something nobody really cares about. So, would you care?

I have actually not seen most of the incentives from before I got caught up because of how slow photobucket loads for me(My goodness, all those ads.), so I would appreciate it.

Ichabod can do a little more than remind Stilez of something she was already going to do anyway. He can also distract her with bouncy balls.

It's likely not so much that Ichabod can control her, rather that Stilez listens to what he says because it must be important if he's the one saying it.

Concerning Smackjeeves versions of the galleries... I got decent enough at wandering through Photobucket libraries, but having some better navigation features might be good. Personally I won't be worried if it doesn't happen (though I'd likely use it more if it did)

Incentive:
OK. Well, that's a thing that is about to happen.

Blitzkrieg1701, January 29th, 2016, 6:05 pm

Yeah, the actual Photobucket site loads slow as crap for me too (and that's WITH all the ads blocked, it's unusable otherwise), otherwise I might have tried organizing things by folders over there.

The more I think about it, the more this is probably gonna happen, especially since I could load new incentives the night I draw them and just set them to not go live for a few weeks. Just imagine, an Incentive Gallery that actually updates twice a week! THE MIND BOGGLES.

SS: Perhaps, but remember that Ichabod told her to put him down, like, fifty times and she never actually did. So, apparently, not EVERYTHING he says is important.

It's not that it's not important when he says to be put down, or that she's not listening (because she remembered him saying that often on their date) but that she doesn't believe he means it. He's always saying funny stuff like that. Obviously he's just joking since who on earth wouldn't want to be hugged by a cute catgirl? Everybody loves hugs, right? I think in general she doesn't seem understand the way people communicate, possibly because most of her communication is done with guns, and in particular she doesn't understand most of what Ichabod says, but she seems to pay attention to it anyway.

Also, the membership of TMBSBSMTPJS is still upset that Jenna didn't get her chance with the STBN News Anchor as Prince. :(

Blitzkrieg1701, January 30th, 2016, 7:03 am

That sums it up pretty nicely :)

Also, there was probably some logistical problems with trying to come up with a prince costume for a guy who's contractually obligated to be shirtless

Number 6 (Guest), January 31st, 2016, 1:23 am

Barbarian Warrior Prince! That just about requires Shirtlessness. Jenna could wear the Warrior Princess version. It wasn't her top favorite, but I think she would be willing to compromise :)

I'M BACK!
Wow. How long have I been gone? Where to start... OH whatever I'm just gonna say that I guessed that the thing was him dating Stilez when he reacted right after the dating related suggestion. Stilez and Ichabod are so cute together. I have realized that this comic is in what I like to call the insanity zone; when something is comedy and deals with horrible things while never taking it seriously. I NEED TO BECOME A PATRON OR SOMETHING.

I also need to find a way to get or make a gright body pillow.

@power comic
You may have been gone for approximately five months, ten days, and fourteen hours.
Good to your triumphant return to commenting on Far Out There.

Concerning Gright body pillows... Well, there'd be two ways of making one. First, get a blank body pillow, and print a picture of Gright onto the cover, or, alternatively, make a Gright-shaped pillow by cutting out a Gright-shape and following internet tutorials on how to make cushions.
(I feel that would be a safer thing to search for, and likely get more useful results.)
As for getting one without havign to make it... No idea.

@Number 6
What you said about Stilez is something I was trying to say, but I'm not always that good with words or whatever these typing-things are.

Also: Everybody loves hugs.

Number 6 (Guest), January 31st, 2016, 1:05 pm

@Seros Senric- Scribbles feels your pain about the writing the words ... about the things ... and stuff ...that the words are about...

Regarding the archived vote incentives - it probably wouldn't make much difference to me since I've been through the archived incentives all several times already, but I think it would be very helpful for new readers, particularly for The Killer Station of Deadly Doom since it's actual canon in the webcomic itself.

In fact, TKSDD really should have its own site - it's got more pages than at least 80% of the "real" webcomics out there. Even better: It could be the first chapter of your new spinoff prequel webcomic "The Nitpicking Misadventures of Ichabod Caroherty Entropy Kendall"! Because you really really need a THIRD webcomic to draw. You'll just have to eliminate unnecessary luxuries like "sleep". :D
