This is why Layla and Tabitha get along so well: because Tabitha's such a good listener

Dang it, I forgot to color in Tabitha's speech bubble on the last page, didn't I?

Also, in the distant future, deactivating futuristic ship to ship communications makes a "click" noise just like hanging up a phone. Do not question this.

Also Also, I like that, given Ichabod's position, his line could be directed at either Layla or the Cap'n. After all, you just KNOW Cap'n Crosby's given Ichabod that exact same look a lot.

So, there IS a new Voting Incentive coming today, I just don't have it finished yet. It'd penciled and everything, but I kinda figured getting the actual COMIC colored and posted took priority, ya know? Check back in a couple of hours and everything should be good to go.

EDIT: Okay, new Voting Incentive is finally finished and up!

From the Cap'n's point of view, this really could still be considered Ichabod's fault, since Layla is only on board the ship because of Ichabod.

If we've learned anything over the course of this comic, it's that EVERYTHING is Ichabod's fault if you go back far enough :)

Ed8, March 8th, 2016, 3:09 pm

and the second thing we've learned over the course of this comic (from Layla) is that nothing is ever Layla's fault! :)

Blitzkrieg1701, March 8th, 2016, 3:53 pm

The third thing we've learned is really just the second thing over again because IT'S JUST THAT IMPORTANT AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT MISTER

I bet Alternate-Universe-Layla always takes full responsibility for her problems! :D

I've missed some updates... :(
Who'd have known that packing up to move would take time away from reading webcomics...

Yeah, everybody knew it was Tabitha.

And I bet that's how Current-Universe characters realise that Alternate-Universe-Layla isn't Current-Universe-Layla!

@ "Everything's Ichabod's fault if you go back far enough": Those two only met due to Ichabod. So, yes, it's quite easy to blame this on him. But I haven't seen anything that can cause the creation of existence to be blamed on Ichabod yet. I'll wait for it, though.

@ Incentive: Strawberry scented, Avatar strength, home-made hair gel. Avatar strength hair gel can last for 100 years in the void of space without being affected. It can also, however, be washed out easily by alternating between freezing cold and burning hot water (or, in Stilez's case, being knocked through a waterfall during winter and then hit with a high explosive).

EVERYTHING really is Ichabod's fault
@Darius Drake: Blitz correct me on any of this, because I'm not entirely sure of any of it, but I think I recall reading somewhere, possibly on the forum, at some point that Far Out There was originally conceived as a vehicle for the adventures of Ichabod where he was a The Doctor-like character and the rest of the characters just passed in and out of the story, and I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a sketch somewhere of "the first ever FOT character art" which I think was Ichabod, Avatar, and (of all people) Frank. (Don't tell Frank, it will inflate his ego even further). My point being that, since we know that the entire Universe itself was created about 8 years ago, and apparently created as a vehicle for Ichabod's story, then in fact one can truthfully say that the creation of existence can be blamed on Ichabod!

Blitzkrieg1701, March 9th, 2016, 5:49 pm

Huge Spoiler: In the very last page of Far Out There, Ichabod turns out to be God incarnate.

Ed8, March 9th, 2016, 6:48 pm

Well, now you've ruined the ending for me, I guess there's no point in reading any more. :(

Ed8, March 9th, 2016, 6:56 pm

Although...on second thought, maybe I should keep reading...just to see the look on Layla's face when she finds out! :o

Darius Drake (Guest), March 10th, 2016, 5:28 am

@ Ed8: Nah, Layla's would have worked out how to make herself rich again shortly before that point in the story, probably by taking Frank's "most important person in existance" position. Which is why Frank's in the "first ever FOT character art", while neither Layla nor Trigger are.

Ed8, March 10th, 2016, 1:54 pm

@Darius Drake: If Layla becomes a major religious figure in the Hoch'ren Honee cult in place of Frank, she should be even more horrified to find out the truth about IchaGod!
