Yep, I got behind schedule and had to post a half-finished page AGAIN. Just go find one of my apologies from the past couple of weeks and mentally substitute it here, they'll all apply.

Anyway, the thought occurs to me that this COULD actually be a result of the whole Mad Scientist Convention kerfuffle. If somebody heard that Tabitha might be involved with getting Evil Scientists busted, that might have motivated them to shut her up... which might in turn have motivated HER to shut THEM up, since it's kinda hard to keep track of who knew how much about what once all that dust settled.

And if you wanna see more of Tabitha *snort* the new Voting Incentive series kicks off in earnest today!

Immediately Layla is wondering how much money she can extort from Dr. Cruise Vanderkittybrains so that the GSPCK (Galactic Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Kitties) does not hunt him down.
*Probably not very much, since I recall he was looking for funding, but she'll be happy to take 100% of whatever he has.

The left of that voting incentive kinda looks like Tabitha's putting boob cups on, rather than holding a purse.

@ Tabitha on incentive: Oh, I know! I'm a male who stays far away from events where clothes like that are worn, and I know. It's for carrying "Vitals", in order of MY view of the importance of the items: ID, Bank Card, Note-based Cash & Car Key.

Of course, the women who wear that dress and carry that purse may only consider items 2 &, MAYBE, 3, as of being of any importance at all.

@Incentive - silly Tabitha! When you wear that dress you don't have to carry anything around with you - you just remark out loud "oh my, I am in need of a flux coupler" (or whatever you need) and instantly out of nowhere a half dozen guys randomly appear to offer you flux couplers! Or whatever. Scientists are unsure of how this happens, but they are fairly sure of why it happens. ;)

Tabitha is rich, but only in the Mad-Scientist sense: Somehow Mad Scientists have a peculiar type of wealth where if they need to build a giant death ray, or an army of killbots, or a supercomputer the size of a city, or a rampaging mecha of some kind, any one of which would require parts and resources that would equate to millions or even billions of dollars in current equivalents, they always have plenty of funds for that, but when it comes to paying the rent or buying lunch, they generally have no more money than the average person.

Mad economics is strange that way.
