I started to write something apologizing for this page being late, but then I realized I was only talking about it being a few HOURS late in the day, when it's actually a whole DAY late. Yeah, if you missed the note I added to the previous page: doing that big giant Conventional Wisdom update wiped me out so bad that I just had to push things back a day. And even then, I ended up being many hours late. I HAD said that Friday's update wouldn't be affected... but I'm going back on that. The next page for this week will go up on SATURDAY, just this once. I hate to do it, but I'm just so worn out right now that I need to give myself at least a LITTLE breathing room to get recovered from all this post-Animazement burnout. (and it's the worst kind of burnout, too. I'm not out of ideas or anything, just lacking the energy to DO them)

Oh, and speaking of delays, I don't have the new Voting Incentive up yet. It's already drawn and everything, I just didn't have time to color it in before getting to work on this page. Check back in a couple of hours and I should have everything up and running.

EDIT: Okay! New Voting Incentive is up!

I think Tax wants to know if the rumours about Avatar being indestructible are true.

I've probably mentioned this already; I'm enjoying seeing Avatar being dragged around in this arc.

Games you can only play with Avatar
Tax must have heard from Trigger that stick-Avatar's-head-into-incredibly-dangerous-deadly-things was a really fun game to play:

SS: Avatar's got a very passive outlook on life. She's resigned herself to just sitting back and watching as life rolls over her... or, as the case may be, scoops her up and caries her around while applying numerous hugs.

Ed8: If there's ever a Far Out There video game, there would need to be a "Fling Avatar Into Highly Destructible Objects Via Catapult" minigame.

@ Blitz on "Fling Avatar": The question is whether landing on Stillez is worth a significant number of points, or very few at all. She could even be a "Wildcard" landing point.

@ Incentive: ...Okay, I can see Sky's sex appeal.

Today's vote incentive receives the Trigger Seal of Approval. ;)
(unless overprotective big sister Layla won't let him see it)

Also, Skye is thinking "Wow, I thought Layla was just kidding when she warned me about Tabitha tendency to make really weird comments!" :o

Rest assured, the ONLY time anyone will manage to get Skye into anything that skimpy is in pages of questionable canonicity.

"Impulse Reactor" is just a fancy way of saying "exhaust pipes", right?

Blitzkrieg1701, June 10th, 2016, 11:57 am

It's sweet that you think highly enough of me to imply that I have any idea how the technology in Far Out There actually works :)

Ed8, June 10th, 2016, 1:50 pm

"Impulse Reactor" is actually just a fancy way of saying "Magic".

(Any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology)
