There's something really appropriate about this page revolving around a great big yawn, seeing as how it's LATE because I fell asleep in the middle of drawing it.

So, yeah, the usual apologies for spending too much time working on Conventional Wisdom stuff... though it DOES look like I really will have that whole batch of comics done by this weekend, so GO ME! ...then I'll be able to start scrambling to get extra Far Out There stuff to cover my Anime Weekend Atlanta trip! WHEEE! Anyway, I'll have the colored/polished up version of the page up later today, so check back for that.

But hey, at least I was able to get a new Voting Incentive up more or less on time!

Bridget knows how to get Tabitha's attention back to it's rightful place.

Stilez has been confused a lot lately. I'd suggest she go to Ichabod to get him to explain things to her, but he also does the "confuse Stilez" thing.

Incentive:
Well, this certainly wasn't what I expected.
...Although, it has happened before...

That's a very aggressive yawn.

Bridget doesn't do ANYTHING weak.

@ Comic: And here I thought that Bridget was going to regain attention by getting upset enough to cry. And, given Bridget's (mute) character, that would mean that she's seriously upset.

@ Incentive: When he's done something wrong? Only when his father's dishing out the punishments, and considers it a relatively minor offense. No, that's what he wears when he wants to make his mother happy. So, basically, when he's messed up enough that she's truly upset, he'll change into that to offset her despair. His mother's also the reason why it's his "minor offense" costume. The irritation from wearing it is offset by his mother's constant cuddles of her "cute little guy".

@Darius: Bridget- cry to get attention?! Never! As if she was just a little girl or something! The only scenario in which I could imagine Bridget ever crying is if something really bad happened to her Mom or her brother.

@Incentive: That's how his mom sees him all the time anyway, regardless of whether or not he's wearing it.

Avatar is still under the impression that normal people are really fragile. Which is understandable, considering.

Stilez is confused by the idea that if you are responsible for small kids you are actually supposed to enforce rules like "bedtime" on them. I'm pretty sure Stilez has never enforced any rule on Tax. If anything, Tax tells Stilez when Stilez should go to bed.

@hovertext: Apparently Tabitha's ship engine produces time distortions as well as spatial distortions. The last 60 pages was non-linear time.

@incentive: Violates truth-in-advertising laws. Correct accurate representation of Megaweapon to be found here:

@ Number 6: No, Bridget cry due to being ignored by Tabitha (in what I was half-expecting).
