And now, another page that really serves no purpose in the story whatsoever, but I had to draw anyway because CUUUUUUUUUUTE.

Okay, so I got the new Voting Incentive done in advance this time, AAAAAND I'm gonna be spending the next week frantically trying to build up some extra pages before AWA... PLUS a backlog of Far Out There comic for Patreon, so we con finally have some Jenna comics on a regular basis again. We'll see how that works out!

EDIT: Oh, by the way! The Incentive/Patreon Gallery is updating as I type this, a new page every 15 minutes! (...which will probably be over by the time most of you read this, but the comics will still be up for you to read!)

It does signify an important part of the plot here. Layla's calmed down & we get to confidently see her treat Trigger as a close-family member, confirming that a relationship between them is impossible just from a character perspective. I mean, we've had it told to us before, but we've never had an in-character confirmation that couldn't be misconstrued as potential-relationship building. Here we have her treating Trigger as her... child, actually, but that's close enough to sibling.

Okay, yes, Shippers COULD misconstrue this as potential-relationship fodder, but it's would be a stretch, in my opinion.

@DD: I think the Trigger-Layla ship was sunk within the first dozen pages of the story. In a very deep part of the ocean. The wreck has never been found.

@Comic: Is it possible that Sleepy Alphonse looks even MORE huggably adorable than usual!? Who would have thought such a thing even possible!

@Incentive: Young Nitpicker Adventures is going to eventually have to become an actual thing. Although it would probably end up on Patreon more likely than a vote incentive series, I suppose.

@Jenna Patreon comics not being on a regular basis - see, even there the Universe is conspiring against her!

@ Ed8: The Trigger-Layla ship was denied in the first few dozen pages of the story (with disgust from the characters, sure, but only denied). Shipper's have shown willingness to ignore that, though. Here, however, we have a clear-cut, quite difficult to deny, example of them displaying next-of-kin type behavior.
