Geez, the ladies in this comic are a dangerous bunch. Bridget and Layla should meet up later and have a grumpy jealousy conference.

Well, believe it or not, I STILL don't have the Conventional Wisdom update finished as I write this... but only because I had to stop getting the pages ready so that I could get THIS page done. Everything should online by this evening, so be sure to go check that out.

And don't forget to check out the new Voting Incentive! ...which also bears the unmistakable look of something that was done while also working on other things.

EDIT: Awww DANG IT, I forgot to put a title on this page. I'd change it, but I'm too lazy to repost all the links again (the page title shows up in the page address, so if I change anything, all the old links stop working)

Whenever I see a burger in this comic all I can think about is the time Vengeance helped defeat an ultra-powerful reality-warper by feeding it a burger.

Also him wearing a silly hat while trying to sell people burgers. (Which he was surprisingly good at.)

I love the thought of how few people will get that :D

:D
I still like that story.

More people should trawl through ancient archives looking for little-known treasures.

I still need to figure out how to eventually work that into the main storyline. Originally, I thought I'd just post all those pages here and give myself a break for a few months... buuuuut the longer I draw this comic, the more unacceptable the art on those becomes. Still, the story IS kind of important (especially the Vengeance stuff you mentioned)

Then again, I also kind of love the idea of having a whole other Far Out There arc just floating around the depths of the internet, that only the people who care enough to find it will ever see.

You could try and have both...

At some point, you could put in a few days time skip where the story could fit, have a page where the characters mention how weird it all was, and then just leave it as a Noodle Incident to anyone that hasn't managed to track it down.

Several story arcs later, have them meet some of the other characters in that arc with them recognising the protagonists (and whether or not they hope it'll be as fun as the time before), with more references.

And after typing all this, I realise that perhaps the forums would have been a better place to discuss this stuff :)

I remember the stuff with Vengeance and the burgers and the reality warping genie but I don't remember where - was it a vote incentive or patroen or what?

Seros Senric (Guest), December 19th, 2016, 7:50 pm

@Ed8
I think it pre-dates voting incentives?

Since Blitz seems to like the idea of it remaining fairly hidden, I'm unsure if I should say exactly where to find it.
But anyway, I'll tell you that it can be found on Photobucket.

@Seros Senric: Now that you mention it, I remember that photobucket is exactly where I found it. A secret hidden FOT story! Like finding buried treasure. Or maybe more like an archaeologist having to piece together a broken treasure, since I think the strips were kind of scattered out of order among all the other stuff :)
