The maids all adore Jenna (since, you know, she actually pays attention to them), but the Pan-Galactic Academy for The Help has strict "Be seen, not heard" rules, so they can't really show it.

I really loved the idea that Jenna took the time to learn all the mai ds' names and wanted to explore that a bit more. Sadly, it's harder than you might think to find ways to work a whole hoard of maids into a story, this has been the only chance to actually do so.

...and it's also a chance to assure everyone that SOMEBODY is making up for how badly Megaweapon treats Jenna.

I'm going to say, in response to the question in the last panel, that it is definitely MORE remarkable: badly spoiled pampered kids rarely turn out mind-bogglingly selfless like Jenna (ok, neither do any other kids) It just makes Jenna's halo even more blindingly brilliant, if that's even possible. Megaweapon, on the other hand, seems about right for a badly spoiled kid.

Regarding Author comment - surely watching all that Anime must have taught you how to incorporate maids into a story when there's no justifiable reason for them! There's hundreds of ways to do it! In fact, it's probably more difficult to keep maids out of a story! ;)
