This was another page that was harder to write than it seemed like it should have been. On the one hand, Trigger really needed to get over this whole thing really quickly for the greater good of the plot. Having things be awkward between him and Tabitha would be a distraction and needlessly complicate other matters, and I don't think Trigger's physically capable of holding a grudge over anything. HOWEVER, that could have been taken as implicitly condoning Tabitha's behavior (especially given the punchline), so I really wanted to make sure that none of Layla's objections came across as irrational. I mean, her attitude may be bad, but nothing Layla's saying here is actually WRONG.

Speaking of working on things, I can not BELIEVE I didn't get this page posted until nearly noon. Would you believe I started drawing at 5am Monday morning? Of course, the problem was that I was jumping back and forth between this page and penciling more Conventional Wisdom MAGFest comics. Hey, remember when I said that breaking that update into chunks would ensure that Far Out There's schedule wouldn't be affected? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahahahahaha...

Well, at least I got a fresh Voting Incentive up in a timely fashion. That's good, right?

I'm pretty sure if Trigger was ever mad at somebody, he wouldn't be after 30 seconds of not looking at them.

Still, there might still be some negative long-term affects caused by this situation, but Layla is here to try and protect him from those.

Incentive:
Bridget is still unsure why Tabitha insists on putting her in a dress.
Although I think she's pretty fine with having a matching theme with Alphonse.

@Panel#1: If you are Layla, is there ever really not a time when you should be mad at stuff?

@Panel#2: Layla, are you saying you would be less upset if Tabitha had actually been trying to seduce Trigger?! :o

Also, I know what Tabitha is saying, but a guy could take that the wrong way, 'cause it could sound a lot like "Of course it's ridiculous that I could ever ever possibly find you attractive" Ouch? I'm sure Trigger wouldn't take it that way though.

@Panel#3: Not just her Trigger-hug privileges. I'm pretty sure her Layla-hug privilege is also suspended. Which is actually a pretty harsh punishment.

@Panel#4: Trigger confirms that, yes, he is a teenage boy.

Layla is always an endless source of entertaining facial expressions. :)

@Seros: There are absolutely no long term effects. It is completely just a coincidence that all of his girlfriends for the next 20 years happen to be very tall girls with glasses. (Who are all promptly chased off by Layla) Now if we can just find some one to protect him from the long term effects of hovering-overprotective-sister.

@Incentive comment Peach vs. Daisy: Everybody knows that Rheiko is the superior princess. My favorite part was when Mario was finally able to rescue Princess Rheiko in Super Smash Ultimate Mega Mario Supernova Apocalypse MCMLXXVII.

I'm holding off on making comments, cos it's hard to think of responses that don't give away future pages, but now I do want to imagine a Far Out There version of Mario where Rheiko is Princess Peach.
