I think the vending machines must be cursed. Seriously, it feels like all the worst instances of me posting unfinished pages recently have been pages with vending machines in them. I'm probably just imagining it, but that extra background detail DOES seem to always add more work than I expect. I mean, doing all those books on Icha bod's shelves was a lot of extra work too, but at least then I knew going in that it would be a chore. Somehow, I always seem to forget just how much extra time it takes to do "Imaginary Future Fast Food" a dozen or two times (and I didn't really even have to do that many this time) Well, at least i was able to get all the plot relevant details finished before throwing in the towel and taking a nap, so all you're missing out on this time is some color.

But speaking of "plot relevant" ...yeah, I'm just going to admit it: the only reason this page exists is because I wanted to draw Vengeance eating a big, silly-looking sundae. I could easily have fit "Stilez and Tax are carrying Avatar around and being loud" into next Friday's page and probably tightened up the pacing of the plot... but I just really wanted to draw Vengeance eating a big, silly-looking sundae, and this is how I could make that happen. I apologize for nothing.

And speaking of Vengeance, New Voting Incentive!

@ Comic (my idea): Bunny Sushi isn't made from what's typically called "bunnies" (aka, rabbits) in our world, but rather from something with rabbit-like appendages (possibly ears) that was actually given the name "bunny" due to it's appendages. This can be anything from a furry fish which has rabit-ear like fins, to an octopus or squid with rabit-ear like growths on it's legs, or even a buffalo-sized carnivore with rabbit-ears.

@ Incentive: That's probably something to do with Vengeance's Creation. See, he's seems to be coming out of... whatever that is in the background. Alternatively, it's his death and he's getting sucked into it.

I like how Avatar is in this page.

Also, I think rabbit sushi would probably taste good. (But then, as a child my family did used to eat rabbit - both ones we bred and wild ones we caught)

And, I want that book they're reading.

I figured he was travelling through some kind of portal. Probably some kind of weird spatial phenomena that few other than Avatar and Vengeance could survive.

I was going to make a comment about how, while I haven't ever eaten rabbit sushi, I HAVE had sushi with beef that wasn't bad... but actually, given what we know about the Far Out There universe, it IS a valid point that "bunny" could refer to just about any eldritch abomination that happens to have long ears.

@ Blitz on "Bunny" Response: Honestly, my thoughts ran to how Layla would, emotionally (internally), react to "cute little bunny rabbits" being slaughtered and sliced into thin strips to be served as sushi. Then I multiplied that by x100 and predicted the social backlash created by young girls of cutesy girl films everywhere towards any company that thought slaughtering one of the most popular and cutest "cutesy animals" known to man (and still utilised in the Far Out There Universe).

Long story short, in how I view this universe, if actual Rabbits were used for that Sushi, the company that came up with the idea is dead from Public Backlash and outright Riots, and their competitors became terrified of using Rabbits on anything food related, even as mascots.

@ Darius: And then the Captain got ahold of lots of all the leftover Bunny Sushi for real cheap! :)
