Dang, this didn't go according to plan. I mean, I said on Twitter than this page was gonna be even later than usual, but I THOUGHT I was gonna manage to pull everything together before noon despite myself... and then all of a sudden I'd been awake for a whole day and couldn't stay conscious long enough to finish the dialog. Drat.

See, this is another of those instances where I wound up throwing out the planned page and started over from scratch, and working out any kind of rough draft always takes a lot longer. (and that's not even counting the hours lost hacking away at the unused page) Buuuuut after last week's page I just really wanted a little extra moment to prove that Layla's not THAT mad at Tabitha, and things kind of exploded from there.

Anyway, while this page may have been a bugaboo to get finished, at least I accomplished some OTHER stuff over the weekend. Aside from getting the new Voting Incentive done, I finally got some much needed site maintenance taken care of! There shouldn't be any more busted links or broken images left, AND the fanart gallery even has some new stuff! Huzzah!

@ Incentive: And here I thought that armour was made from ectoplasm. Additionally, Slime Armour, so long as you can get it to hold it's own shape, could, in theory, actually work defensively. If it's made out of some sort of Oobleck-like material (Oobleck is the stuff that, when suspended in liquid it is a mostly liquid ooze, but when stuck turns solid for a good second or two), it could have the defensive properties against physical of both liquid and solids. That is to say, the Water component should be able to stop most high-velocity ammunition, while the Solidification component should work to prevent most blunt physical attacks. Not certain about how it would work against relatively low velocity or sharp attacks (such as swords or arrows), but it could be effective against explosions, high velocity ammunition and punches.
