Boy, sure am glad I took that day or two off last week! That TOTALLY got me all caught up and back on schedule! No late updates at ALL! any more! ...yeah, I'm extra salty about this because it's REALLY TOTALLY NOT MY FAULT I SWEAR! I honest to God was half-way done with this page early last night, and was SURE it'd be finished by this morning. And then the runny nose started. Yup, about half the town came down with the flu over the weekend, and although I seem to be doing better than a lot of people, it still sapped me of enough energy that progress slooooooooowed down to a crawl, and here we are.

Actually, I take it back. That's now why I'm salty about this page being late, it's because until this cold hit, those extra days off really DID help. I mean, I was still working on today's page last night, so I obviously didn't manage to get a buffer built up again. But you know what? Even just a day or two allowing myself to not worry about an overdue deadline felt FANTASTIC, and I came back feeling fresher than I have in a long time. When I sat down to start editing this page, I actually WANTED to work on a comic instead of just feeling like I had to. It's... kind of sad for that to actually be something worth remarking on, actually. Maybe I should be better about scheduling days off. Like, OFFICIAL days off where I;m not even supposed to be getting anything done, as opposed to days where I just stop in the middle of something and feel guilty about it the whole time.

Oh, and I really need to offer an apology to the new TWC Voting Incentive for not giving it proper acknowledgement. THAT comic was a real team player and got done exactly when it was supposed to be done. Really, I should have slapped one more edit into the last page's comments to let people know the new Incentive was done, but no. I was just soooooo sure the new page would be done in juts a little bit, so I could just wait and tell everybody then. (Heck, I really should have posted the line art version of this page, then something could have been up around lunchtime. I REGRET EVERYTHING.)

EDIT: Hey, let's play a game! A few minutes after I finally posted this page, I got my George Lucas on and went back to alter some dialog. You win five imaginary cookies if you can guess which line I changed!

For lack of any actual hints, I'm going to guess the line you changed is the one which does have closing quotation marks, but not the opening ones.

Blitzkrieg1701, February 13th, 2019, 8:25 pm

You're actually pretty close, but no. The inconsistent quotation marks are just from me being sloppy when I copy/pasted the text.

You get... TWO imaginary cookies for catching the typo.
