Okay, so that whole "catching a killer cold" thing got worse before it got better. It's mostly under control at this point, pretty much downgraded to an obnoxious stuffy nose, but for a pretty good chunk of this week I was an achy feverish mess coughing huge globs of filth out of my chest... which you may be surprised to learn does NOT put one in the mood to draw funny pictures for the internet. Obviously, I was able to get today's page done, but it was a reeeaaal slog, and I'm afraid it took all the attention my cold medicine-addled brain could muster, so there's no new TWC Voting Incentive this time. It's a lot better than just not having an update at all, but I was still really hoping to be past all this nonsense by this point.

Now if you'll excuse me: between finishing this page, medicine messing with my head, and just not being able to breath through my nose, I've been awake for around 36 hours... This is exactly what needs to NOT be happening if I ever want to get better.

Flannel Sorcerers, eh?

I'm starting to get the idea that most of the people in the FOT universe have entirely forgotten how their technology actually works (because knowing stuff is, like, really hard, and stuff) and so they just label any sufficiently advanced technology as magic.

And anyone who actually does still understand the technology is labeled "Mad Scientist". Because they were Mad to actually study. Or studying drove them Mad. either way.

I think this comic link is appropriate here:

Or do we not celebrate anniversaries after the 10th one?

HOLY CRAP I DID FORGET. I mean, yeah, after the Big Ten-Oh it probably makes since not to devote a whole page to each yearly milestone, but that was NOT a conscious decision on my part.

EDIT: How about we celebrate November 3rd this year, since that's the day I started porting pages over to SmackJeeves from Drunk Duck? Heck, next year November 3rd will be Far Out There's tenth birthday AGAIN in Jeeves-Years!

It is the solumn sworn duty of a Nitpicker
You know I will keep track of it if you miss FOT's Jeeversary now. :D
