Okay, you know how I posted an unfinished version of the page last week, even though I knew it looked weird since I didn't have the lighting effects yet? Man, I REEEAAALLY should have done that today. The rough draft was done before noon, and it was at least SORT of presentable, but nooooooooooo. I let myself dive right into the wacky coloring of that second panel right away, even though it turned out waaaaaaaay more time-consuming and complicated than I expected it to be. Like, twenty extra layers, Manga Studio-crashing levels of complicated. Enough that I had to COMPLETELY change plans halfway through. What you're looking at now is NOTHING like what I thought this page would end up being this morning. Doing an art is HARD.

I really ought to add something actually comic-related here, but I've literally been working on this thing all day and I really want to go lie down.

Well, at least the TWC Voting Incentive was easy enough to get done.

EDIT: Okay, I remembered what I meant to say earlier. I think situations like this are pretty common for The Kids, Avi feeling totally satisfied that The Bad Guy got arrested for something, regardless of whether or not it has anything to do with whatever it was he originally thought they did. After all, most people at that level of wealth/fame/influence are guilty of SOME horrible crime, so the bling squirrel gets the nut quite often.

@ Allergy to basic human decency: Is this an allergy to performing basic human decency, or an allergy to coming in contact with basic human decency? Actually, given what we've seen as commonplace in this comic universe, what IS considered basic human decency? Because a lot of things WE would consider to be basic human decency has been shown to not be part of the consideration in this universe.

Regarding the former: I'd imagine one couldn't perform it without being in contact with it, so that's probably a "both/and" situation.

Regarding the latter: It's probably like the common cold: a broad lump term used to describe a wide array of disparate "germs."

(Wow, this post answered NOTHING, did it?)

@ Blitz: No, no, it actually says A LOT about the FOT Universe. "Basic Human Decency" being something that can be literally qualified, if not theoretically or practically quantified, is a surprising factor to the universe that it could actually be unique.

Actually, given how some of the governments in FOT are, I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of them have a specified range of required "Basic Human Decency Infection" to be a part of the governing body. Too low and you're too inhumane to properly represent your constituents. Too high and you're too generous to properly do your job. In the middle you CAN, in theory, do the job and all it entails, but the number of people who try to gain government positions often end up being too incompetent as individuals to actually properly do their job.

At least, for some positions. Military Positions and Direct Customer Service Positions obviously would have far lower levels of required "Basic Human Decency", due to the requirement to kill people or loss of faith in humanity the positions require.

Obligatory Cynical Comment
You would think an allergy to basic human decency would be pretty harmless - after all it's rarely ever encountered in anything other than undetectable trace amounts.
