I really need to stop saying I'm taking a day off, then realizing after the fact that I was supposed to be doing an extra holiday page anyway, so nothing really ends up changing. But then, if I were good enough at time management to avoid stuff like that, I'd be good enough to avoid needing a break in the first place.

...also, we really need to see what the heck Tabitha does on Mother's Day, don't we?

...is it the printer ink, or the handwritten ink that he needs? Actually, what about the paper? Because I'm fairly certain that the paper is going to cause problems with his plan. Unless they worked out how to make cards entirely out of ink. Did people in Far Out There work out how to make solid objects completely out of ink? Also, how about the materials used to dissolve the card, wouldn't they affect the molecular composition? It might even be better for him to attempt to use the card as is.

It's times like these that we need to stop and consider the possibility that Tabitha's Dad MIGHT not be that good at what he does (at least, not any more)

It's not so much that Tabitha's Dad isn't good at what he does, it's that what he does (Alchemy) doesn't actually do anything at all, even if you do it perfectly.
