That is a "We DID this already" glare, and it is directed SPECIFICALLY at me.

So... this time I actually AM embarrassed. As some of you may have noticed, I posted not one but TWO Conventional Wisdom comics the other day (one as part of the current Animazement series, and another for Patreon that needed to be synced up with the first one), and kinda sorta didn't get much sleep in the middle of all that. So not only did I get a late start on working on this page, but I was VERY tired. Partway through, I was loopy enough that I decided I needed to go have a bit of a lie down... and suddenly it was, like, ten hours later. Whoops? So, yeah, lineart version right now, colored in version to come sometime tonight/tomorrow morning.

...and between this little snafu and the fact that the next page is looking to have about as many panels as this one, I'm just gonna give everybody fair warning that the next update probably won't be ready until sometime Saturday. There'll still be SOMETHING else this week, just something late.

Well, at least I got another TWC Voting Incentive up more or less on time.

OH! And speaking of Patreon, there's another Far Out There blog post up for $2+ patrons! Gosh, I really HAVE been busy the past few days...

draft version nitpicking
for the finished version: panel 4 "like"-> "look"

that does seem like something that would happen to Avatar: after hundreds of years she does finally get new indestructible clothes that actually fit....but it's not something she would actually be willing to wear in public....

@ Incentive: Those are completely different creatures, and not a singular mask worn by a wide variety of animals? Weird. I thought that it was a journey of a weird mask, given that there's at least 6 completely different bodies, and I'm being generous on similarities.

Bridget has seen this before.

*Obligatory plug for Avatar Dress Up Game*

(I'd thought I'd had a sundress in that, but apparently not ... there's a suitable hat though)

Incentive:
Very blobby.
At least even the weird spider-like one isn't as bad as Gright Spiders.

Ed8: That WOULD be her luck, alright.

DD: ...OR it could be a collection of similar masks, all being worn by a rotating series of animals simultaneously.

SS: That game is now confirmed as canon (at least as a depiction of how Tabitha views the world)

@seros - my favorite thing about Avatar dress-up game is that you can change her expression too.
Happy Avatar is Best Avatar.
We don't get to see Happy Avatar nearly enough.
In fact the only occasion I can recall of Avatar canonically* smiling is when Tabitha apologized to her for all the stuff that Mad Scientists had done to her. Which only lasted a few seconds before Tabitha ruined it by Tabithaing, of course. No, wait, I think Tax also made her smile at least once. Which just proves Tax has mysterious powers.

*vote incentives, holiday strips, etc not counted
