What's the more amazing thing to bring up, here? Is it the fact that a final, colored-in draft of the page went up well before noon? Is it the fact that that, despite all the astounding lateness of last week, I DIDN'T have to push anything back or take a day off? Is it the fact that this page isn't about food for once? No, I think the big thing to react to here is that WE'RE FINALLY SEEING SOME REAL FORWARD PLOT MOMENTUM! At long last, after literal YEARS of build, Mariska and her entourage are FINALLY gonna meet up with Ichabod and company! People will be in the same room as each other! Characters will be introduced! WE'LL FINALLY LEARN THOSE TWO KIDS NAMES!!! CAN YOU STAND THE SUSPENSE?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Actually, the REAL remarkable thing is probably that I managed to get this comic done after getting waaaaaaay too wrapped up in coloring this page. There is literally no reason why this scene needed to still be so dramatically lit, I was just having too much fun and couldn't stop.

...unfortunately, I still don't have the new Voting Incentive series started up yet. I'd HOPED to have it going by now, but all my energy over the weekend was poured into getting the regular update schedule back on track. It IS on the horizon, though!

...honestly, if it was just worry about Stillez, I would NOT be surprised if she could leave by an airlock and jump to this ship, should she be given reason to do so.

Yeah, the biggest thing preventing stuff like that is the fact that Tax wouldn't be able to do it with her (I mean, as far as we know)

@ Blitz: I'm now honestly of the opinion that not only HAS Stillez done this (at least once alone as a result of Tax's falling and hurting her tush due to someone attacking her most recently stolen ship and making it shake), she's ALSO done it while carrying an escape pod containing Tax (probably due to someone attempting to get the ship she JUST STOLE to self destruct and/or implode).

...Edit Add a minute or so later:

Actually, now that I think about it, I would not be surprised Stillez might have even ended a major space battle by destroying both sides while carrying around an escape pod carrying Tax due to a stray missile that exploded near her "current" ship caused a rolling pin (or some other prop equivalent) to hit Tax in the shin. Hell, Ichabod could have been with them, and been in the same escape pod!

Avatar scoffs at the part about "sure inevitable death"!

Hmmm, now that I think of it, wouldn't Avatar be some sort of an abomination in a culture that apparently prides itself immensely on getting killed in experimental ship tests?

Avatar: "I'm completely unkillable"
Little Test Ship guy: "What?!?! She's a Heretic!!! Dieeeeee Heretic!!!!!"
